The Monkey Revolution is a Dutch rockband. In 2022 they released their debut EP called 'A Blue Moon Rises'.

It all started as a small project by  brothers Chris and Lucas van Ommen. Their ambition grew and they decided to make an album. They started with their first single 'God, Won't You Save Me?' which they released on Spotify.

In July 2021 they had their first gig, and put together the rest of the band. They where joined by their little sister Julia, classmate Yanna Buist and pre-school friend Bodi van der Heijden. They decided this would be their permanent lineup.

However, at the end of 2023, Yanna an the band decided to part ways.

Quickly the band found a fit candidate for the spot that had just opened up:

Laurens van Minnen.

In October 2024, The Monkey Revolution brought their debut album, called "Never Look Back" into the world.
